Gaffigan's a regular guy holding up a mirror to our everyday world, and turning those reflections into laughs and bigger laughs - and sometimes best of all, smiles of recognition.

If the show's hilarious first half gives way to a more modestly amusing second part, "Noble Ape" remains good, clean, relatable fun.

Refreshing to see a show like this. It's one I'm glad I did not miss. So thankful for the laughs galore. But now I'm left wanting lots more!

Jim Gaffigan has a reputation for not swearing, and while cussing can be pretty darn hilarious, he manages to be very funny without it - and, more importantly, without punching down.
